All students who are eligible to exempt at least one Final Exam have received an email with a link to an electronic exemption form. If a student did not qualify to exempt any Final Exams, they did NOT receive an email. For those that received emails, they must click on the link and choose which specific Final Exams they are choosing to exempt - they can choose up to three if they qualify to exempt at least three.
Remember that the criteria to be eligible to exempt a Final Exam includes all of the following:
- have a Semester 2 grade of at least 80 as of yesterday evening
- have NO more than 3 absences for the second semester - medically excused absences do count toward your total absences
- have NO more than 6 tardies for the second semester
Students musts click on the link and choose which Final Exams you are choosing to exempt by the end of day this coming Wednesday, May 15th. If they do not choose which Final Exams you are choosing to exempt then you will not be eligible to exempt any.
Appeal Forms available in the counseling office with Ms. Melendez. Students will need to pick up the form and fill out all the associated information to prove they have met the criteria, as well as have the teacher verify criteria was met and sign. Students will return it to the counseling office with Ms. Melendez by the end of day this coming Wednesday, May 15th. Ms. Tatom will verify the information filled out and let the student know if the criteria has been met or not.
