Half Day
Pickleball Fun
Students love the pickleball courts at Half Day that they enjoy using during recess thanks to a $400 grant from the PTO.
Principal Jill Mau requested the grant because she said, “Pickelball is easy to learn and students will enjoy playing the sport into adulthood. Benefits of pickleball include, but are not limited to ease of play, quick turnover for multiple students to be involved, increased activity/play, mental strategies, affect on mental health, and mostly students have FUN when they play the sport!” Photos of students on the court illustrate the joy students display while playing the sport.
