FCMS Family,

As the days go by, we are making every moment count. This year, we’ve focused on recognizing

students and staff for their positive efforts, and it’s clear that our students are embracing this

mindset. They are pushing themselves to do better—not just in the classroom but in other school

activities.

With our Student and Teacher of the Month recognitions, daily shout-outs, and simple moments

of acknowledging students for setting a good example, we see our school culture growing

stronger. Students are taking responsibility for their learning, showing kindness, and stepping up

as leaders.

Our staff is also making a big impact. Teachers are finding creative ways to keep students

engaged, celebrate their successes, and provide the support they need to thrive.

Let’s keep this momentum going! By continuing to encourage and support one another, we can

make FCMS a place where everyone grows and succeeds. Thank you for being a part of this

Also, congratulations Brooklynn Manson for receiving Mrs. Ariens;' "ELA Rockstar of the Week" award. Brooklynn always has a smile on her face and stops to chat with Mrs. Ariens during passing periods about her life and things that are happening. She works to create a positive student-teacher relationship with her teachers. Super job, Brooklynn!

February 17-24 was National FFA Week! FC FFA celebrated with our 50 FCMS FFA Members by hosting spirit days, a school wide scavenger hunt, a photo booth in the cafeteria, a search for Farmer Ken and Veterinarian Barbie in the library, and announcing daily Ag Facts. Our February chapter bonding event was held at The Web Entertainment Center in Liberty Township Ohio on Sunday. Our big event, "Are You Smarter Than an FFA Member?" assembly will take place on Wednesday February 26 due to the snow days last week. We will also have Ag Olympics at FCHS on Friday. The scavenger hunt will run through this week as well, forms are outside room 160, there are prizes for each grade!

Intro to Construction students took a break for pictures during an electrical activity. Construction teams installed a switch, outlet and overhead light in their team's building.

Applied Skills students made homemade bread on Friday. Students enjoyed the process and watching the bread rise throughout the day.

Congratulations to Ember Lyons! Ember answered all of the questions correctly in Mrs. Edwards' February Puzzler and won a $25 cash prize. Watch for the next contest coming soon!
