Gratitude: Thank you to Dave Ramos for 10 successful years as Head Football Coach at Schurr High School. In addition to the four Almont League Championships and the 8 CIF appearances, we are immensely grateful for the indelible impact you have on student-athletes, supporting their development as supportive, courageous, hardworking, uplifting, respectful, and responsible gentlemen. Your student-athletes critically thought through plays, collaborated on the field, communicated shifting plans, and created multiple winning seasons. You exemplify Schurr values and expectations. Thank you for inspiring so many students to aspire for more from life.
Gratitude: Thank you to Jeannette Alvarado and Paul Chavez for their critical thinking and collaboration creating Schurr High School's Community Schools Grant. We appreciate you.
Gratitude: Thank you to Jeannette Alvarado, Belinda Ferrell, Trevor Lomas, Larry McKiernan, Samantha Montiel, Baltazar Mejia, Manuel Quintero, Nellie Rios, Jay Valencia, Ray Verduzco, and Myron Wallace their collaborative hard work generating the data for Extended 4th, generating the rosters, creating the stickers, and distributing rosters for Extended 4th. We seem to have many more students taking advantage of this opportunity.
Gratitude: Thank you to our Winter Sports coaches and athletes for your courageous hard work during the off-seasons. We already see your hard work paying dividends. We are proud of you!
Gratitude: Thank you for supportively greeting students and each other when you first interact. That small moment can make a student's and person day. A "hello, ____" or "good morning, ____" goes a long way to create a safe, positive learning culture. Thank you for your uplifting Spartan spirit.
Gratitude: Thank you for continuing to hand out Spartan Bucks to students who are showing Schurr values and expectations (Supportive, Courageous, Hardworking, Uplifting, Responsible, and Respectful) and the 4Cs (Critical Thinker, Collaborator, Communicator, and Creator).
