First day is done!
Wow! We are thrilled to announce that the first day of the new school year has come to a successful close! It was heartwarming to see so many happy faces as students reunited with friends and embraced new beginnings. The excitement in the air was palpable, and it’s clear that everyone is ready for a fantastic year ahead. We look forward to sharing more wonderful moments and achievements as the year unfolds. Here’s to a year filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories!
Meet and Greet Success
We are happy to share that our Meet and Greet for our River Hawks was a wonderful success! It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and welcome new families as we kick off the school year together. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we would love to hear your thoughts on the event. Please take a moment to fill out THIS survey to help us improve future gatherings. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to an amazing year ahead!
Be A Marigold
Like I mentioned in our previous River Hawk Talk, our theme this year is "Be A Marigold!" Just as marigolds provide essential nutrients to their surrounding plants, we believe that our community can uplift and inspire one another. We, like marigolds, can help others thrive in the presence of nurturing and supportive relationships. We aim to cultivate an environment where every child can flourish. Throughout the year, we will focus on fostering kindness, collaboration, and resilience among our students. We encourage families to engage in this theme at home and help us create a vibrant, supportive atmosphere for all. Together, let’s help our children grow and thrive!
Below are some of our marigolds that got a shout out by you!
- Brittney Pomeroy: Thank you for being an amazing teacher, and giving our daughter a great experience for her first year of school last year.
- From: Kynsley and Marina
- Cheryl Hansen: She is truly amazing at keeping everything straight in the office and always remembers who you are and which kiddos are yours :)
- From: Lyla and Liz
- Mike Longnecker: Being an advocate and mentor to my son, he always gives support, encouragement, and offers advice when it’s needed.
- From: Octavius and Karie

Reading Party
Just a reminder, please have your student turn in their reading log if they completed it over the summer! If they completed 1,000 minutes they will be able to enjoy our Reading Party on Friday, October 4th.
The forms need to be submitted to the office by the end of the day September 20th in order to qualify for the reading party!
