Due to the forecast calling for heavy rain on Saturday, the Trunk or Treat has been rescheduled for Monday evening, the 28th from 6 to 8 pm. It will be in the back parking lot (Yellow lot). If you plan to decorate your car, please arrive by 5:00 pm and bring about 200 pieces of candy to share.

Also, the Haunted House, hosted by the 8th graders, will be postponed until the Fall Festival, on November 2nd.

Fall festival is around the corner, one of our biggest school events. If you are looking for an opportunity to volunteer in order to complete the hours requested by the school, this is a great opportunity. We have many booths to choose from (two shifts for each). The first shift will be from 4:00pm to 6:30 pm and the second from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Also, we need volunteers to set-up everything on Friday November 1st from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The Knight of Columbus are requesting winter coat donations. There will be boxes in the school and during our Fall festival for donations. If you are getting rid of coats in your closet, please consider donating.

We are in grave need of new committee members for the “Taste of St. Rita.” This school fundraiser is in its 5th year, and has raised around $75,000 for St. Rita. This money has helped with tuition assistance, as well as has funded school technology projects.

As of now, there are only 3 members on this committee.

Rob Weikert, the committee chair, has lead this committee since its inception and he has done an outstanding job! He is one of the 3 members left; however, his youngest child will be graduating from St. Rita at the end of this school year. Therefore, it is important that we recruit new members in order to sustain this event into the future.

Debido al pronostico de fuertes lluvias el sábado, cajuelas o dulces se ha reprogramado para el lunes 28 por la noche de 6 a 8 pm, si planea decorar su automóvil, llegue antes de las 5:00 pm y traiga 200 dulces para compartir. Cajuela o dulces sera en la parte de atrás del estacionamiento (lote amarillo)

Además, la Casa Embrujada, organizada por los alumnos de octavo grado, se pospondrá hasta el Festival de Otoño, el 2 de Noviembre.

El festival de otono esta a la vuelta de la esquina, una de nuestras mas grandes actividades. Si estas buscando por una oportunidad para completar las horas voluntarias requeridas por la escuela esta es una perfecta oportunidad. Tendremos muchisimas estaciones en las que podrias ayudar y dos turnos para cada uno. El primer turno sera de 4:00pm a 6:30pm y el segundo de 6:30pm a 9:00pm. Tambien necesitaremos ayuda para montar las estaciones el viernes primero de noviembre de 4:00pm a 7:00pm. Por favor utilize el siguiente enlace para registrarse:

Los caballeros de Columbus están solicitando donación de ropa de invierno. Tendremos unas cajas en la escuela y durante el Festival de otoño para que coloques tu donación. Por favor considera donar.

Tenemos una gran necesidad de nuevos miembros para el comité “El Sabor de St. Rita.” Esta recaudación de fondos de la escuela esta en su 5to año y a través dde los años a recaudado alrededor de $75,000 para St. Rita. Este dinero a ayudado con la asistencia para la colegiatura, asi como ha financiado proyectos de tecnología escolar. Ahora, solo hay tres miembros en este comité.

Rob Weikert, el presidente del comité, a dirigido este comité en estos 4 años que hemos tenido este evento y el a hecho un excelente trabajo! Él es uno de los 3 miembros que quedan; sin embargo, su hija menor se graduará este año de St. Rita al final del año escolar.

Por lo tanto, es importante que reclutemos nuevos miembros en orden de sostener este evento en el futuro.
