Updated AED's!
Honoring Our Generous Sponsors for the AED Donation
We are excited to announce the addition of four new Automated External Defibrillators (AED) to our facilities. This essential life-saving equipment will significantly enhance the safety of our community. This achievement was made possible by the generosity and support of three outstanding sponsors who played a vital role in bringing this initiative to life.
With the support of the Gratiot Community Foundation and the Breckenridge Education Association, Carla Giles wrote grants for three traveling AED’s designated for our athletic teams, ensuring they are equipped when attending events. With the support of BCS Sports Boosters, we were also able to add another AED to service our community. This will allow each of our buildings to have two permanent AED’s along with three additional to travel with teams or be stationed at a specific event on our grounds.
The Gratiot Community Foundation, Breckenridge Education Association, and the BCS Sports Boosters have demonstrated its dedication as supporters of community health and safety initiatives. Their commitment to ensuring accessible emergency response tools demonstrates their care for the well-being of those around them. We are immensely grateful for their generous contribution to this essential cause. The generosity of each of these organizations has been instrumental in ensuring that we are better prepared for emergencies. Their commitment to safety and community welfare is invaluable, and we extend our heartfelt thanks for their support.
As we look forward to celebrating Heart Month in February, we are eager to showcase our sponsors and the new AEDs. We invite students and staff to wear RED on Friday, February 7 to show their support for heart health awareness.
Making a Difference
With these AEDs in place, our facility is now better equipped to respond to cardiac emergencies, potentially saving lives when seconds matter the most. This donation serves as a powerful reminder of the impact that community-driven support can have on public health and safety.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our sponsors for their unwavering support. Their contributions have helped create a safer space for everyone, and we encourage our community to support these organizations in return.
Thank you once again to our incredible sponsors for their generosity and commitment to saving lives!

Keep the Huskies Healthy!
Unfortunately as we head into colder months, the number of illnesses rise. If your student is ill, please keep them home. Promptly call the school with any symptoms your child is experiencing (fever, vomiting, sore throat, body ache, cough) and keep them home until they're symptom free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducers. If you take your student to the doctor for their symptoms, please have your student turn in the doctor's note to the office when they return to school. This will ensure the absence does not negatively affect them for truancy purposes.
