SMS Spirit Week
Monday will be a Grade Level War. Sixth graders are encouraged to wear green, seventh graders wear blue, and eighth graders wear purple. We'll do a count during the first period to see which grade level has the most participants (lanyards don't count). WARRIOR points will be awarded to the grade level with the most participants.
Tuesday is all about mixing things up. Tuesday the TEACHERS get to dress like students and we encourage the STUDENTS to dress like a teacher or other professional. Have even more fun by dressing like your FAVORITE teacher.
Wednesday is all about the power of friendship. Get your squad together and dress alike. You could represent a fictional squad (Star Wars, crayons, X-Men, Addams family, etc.), or just all dress alike! (NO masks, hats are OK if they are part of your costume, other dress code rules still apply) The possibilities are endless!
Thursday is team day. If you are participating in the Dodgeball tournament, wear your team colors/uniform. If you are spectating, wear the colors of the team you will support OR your favorite team. (Remember that Thursday is picture re-take day, so dress accordingly....wearing your favorite color is another option today!)
Friday brings us to the last day before fall break and we'd love for everyone to "fall" into break. Wear your favorite fall flannel or sweater OR just wear fall colors (think orange, red, brown, yellow).
We hope to see everyone having some fun next week!
