Parking Lot Safety
Your help is needed to make our parking lot efficient and safe. Remember:
- no parking along the red curb
- NO LEFT TURN when exiting the parking lot. This causes a traffic jam in the lot and disrupts traffic flow
- do not get out of your vehicle, have your child ready to exit the car, with their backpack, closest to the curb. Scholars should be dressed and ready to exit. If they are not, please park on the street and get your scholar ready.
- if your scholar needs assistance getting to class, please park on the street and walk them inside

Student Nameplates for Dismissal
To help you move through the student pick-up line faster, grades 1-5 students were provided with student name plates at Back to School Night. Please be sure to display this nameplate on the passenger-side dashboard. This way, our school staff can retrieve your child more quickly.
Attendance Awareness Month
September is Attendance Awareness Month! Did you know that students who miss more than 18 days of school are less proficient in reading, writing, and math compared to their peers with good attendance? Children who are chronically absent in kindergarten and first grade are less likely to read on grade level by the third grade!
We will participate in a spirit week to raise awareness about the importance of daily school attendance. Don't let your scholars miss out on the fun or their education!
If you are experiencing barriers that prevent your scholar from attending school regularly, please contact Principal Dove.
Let's Get Selling!
Help raise funds for our school programs, field trips, and activities by selling silly socks and popcorn to friends, colleagues, family, and neighbors.

The Big Boo
One of our BIGGEST events of the year is fast approaching. The Big Boo will be here before you know it! There will be games, food, music, bounce houses, and more. BUT, to make this event happen, we NEED parent/family volunteers. The Big Boo just isn't possible without volunteers. To ensure that ALL parents get to spend time with their children on this night, we need volunteers before, during, and after the event. Scan the QR code in the flyer below to fill volunteer spots such as:
- lend your EZ Up tent
- trunk or treat
- line monitor
- admissions table
- carnival booth
- inflatables attendant
- face painting
- clean up crew
- AND MORE
Giving back has never tasted so good!
Who will earn the pizza party?!
Ms. Math's class is in the lead for TK-2 and Mr. Hanna is in the lead for 3-5...who will catch them??
Be On Time!
Our goal is to have 95% positive school attendance and continue to improve each month. This also means getting to school on time and teaching our students to be on time and ready to learn. If you need to report an absence please call the Attendance Line: (805) 241-1065 or email Joanne Vermaak @ jvermaak@conejousd.org. Families have 3 school days to clear absences or else your child will be considered "truant". Also, if you plan to be out of town for 3 or more days, please let our office know.
Please CALL...

An automated call is generated, if we have not received a call (and unfortunately, sometimes even if we have). Thank you for your support.
