Principal Nelson's Thoughts
It has been a fantastic start to the school year. It has been great to see our kiddos excited and ready to learn each day. Our staff has poured a tremendous amount of time and energy into serving students at the start of the year, and I am so grateful for their efforts. I hope everyone enjoys some fun time off with family during this three-day weekend!

Need to Know
We are excited to share an upcoming opportunity for our students to engage with the Lambert Community and participate in the Lambert Homecoming Parade on September 5, 2024. The theme of this event is disco. We encourage all students to dress for the theme or in school spirit wear. This event aligns with our annual school improvement goal to foster collaboration among all schools in our Lambert Community and promote inclusivity, school pride, and a sense of belonging. Our front entrance will not be accessible on this day from 9:30-11:30. We encourage you to schedule any appointments requiring an early pick-up to occur after 11:30 or on a different date. If an appointment needing an early checkout is unavoidable, the guardian will need to park in the back lot. We will have a staff member stationed there to help with check out. Additionally, the highschoolers will be handing out candy as part of the parade. If you would like for your student to not partake of any candy, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher
Team Sharon - Cereal Box Drive (September 3rd - 20th): Students may bring in an unopened cereal boxes and place them in drop off bins when they enter the building. As part of the September Team Sharon activity, we will create cereal box dominoes that will go throughout the building to show how one small donation can make a big impact. Cereal boxes will be donated to The Place of Forsyth (See flyer below).

Donations will be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta through the sale of Team Sharon t-shirts and to The Place of Forsyth through our cereal box drive, demonstrating our dedication to the Team Sharon spirit.
