TREE LIGHTING TOMORROW TONIGHT!
Student attendance at tomorrow night's tree lighting is optional.
SWS Winter Concert Next Week
Our winter concert is this coming Thursday, December 12. Students are required to attend this performance as part of our music expectations. Please see the new concert times for each grade level:
- Grades K-3 will perform at 6pm. K-3 students should report to their classroom at 5:45pm - please do not drop off your students prior to 5:45pm as there will be no supervision. Car drop-off or in person lineup will be at the lower end gym doors similar to daily morning arrival procedures at 5:45pm.
- Grades 4-6 will perform at 7pm. 4-6 students should report to their classroom at 6:45pm.

Welcome, Emma – Our New Therapy Dog at SWS!
We are thrilled to welcome Emma, the newest member of the SWS family! Emma, a certified therapy dog, will be spending time with our students in Ms. Manella's class a few days each week. You might spot Emma around school accompanied by her owner, Ms. Manella, or her trainer, Mr. Coco. We’re excited for Emma to join our classroom, where she’ll bring joy, comfort, and support to our students. Welcome, Emma! 🐾
Holiday Assistance For Sandyston Families
It's that time of year again. If anyone is in need of extra help for the holidays, please let Mrs Misyak know, if you haven't done so already. All calls are kept confidential. Sandyston Has Heart- If you need any help in the form of gift cards this Holiday season, please let Mrs Misyak know by phone 973-948-3263 or email smisyak@sandystonwalpack.org and you will be added to a confidential Sandyston Has Heart list. Toys for Tots program again this year at the Salt and Light Community Church in Montague. Here is the signup link for any families who would like to register their school age child for this.

In art, sixth grade practices drawing zentangle patterns by using Yin and Yang inspirations.
Fourth grade students work on realistic fiction writing by creating a new chapter for their shared read aloud book Odder.
First grade writers practice writing stories using next and then.
Sixth grade students work in small group with their teacher during math.
Second grade students work on their Native American regions posters.
Third grade scientists investigate seeds and fruits versus vegetables.
