Message From Principal Kinney
Good Afternoon:
As we creep up on the short week next week, a week of thanks, I wanted to express, on behalf of myself and all of our Fowler staff, how thankful we are for being a part of a great school community. We are a small town with a big punch, and our students have had many wonderful experiences. An example of this happened just this past week when our grade 8 student spent the week at "Nature's Classroom." This experience was remarkable, as it always is. I visited on Wednesday, and I was impressed with the high engagement and excitement our students demonstrated for learning. Thanks to everyone who supported this experience! If your child has yet to have this experience, I promise it will be just as great when it is their turn.
BIG SHOUTOUT: It is impressive how many students walk, bike, or scooter to school each day. Over time, it is just one thing that becomes routine in what we see. It was not until this past week that someone from another school, while in a meeting, mentioned how impressed they were one morning seeing so many Fowler kids getting exercise on the way to school. Let's keep this going as long as we can; hopefully, the dread of Winter will be mild! The only hope for improvement is that we can see more helmets worn!
The information below has some small additions. All of the flyers below are happening tonight, this weekend, and in the days ahead. Please take a look at them to see if anything catches your eye!
Have a great weekend!
Keith
