Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we wrap up another incredible school year, we at Ocean want to extend our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support, partnership, and trust. Together, we have made this year a memorable and meaningful one for our students.


Farewell and Congratulations

  • To Our Graduates: Congratulations to our graduating Seniors! We are so proud of your journey and excited for what lies ahead.

  • Staff Goodbyes: We bid a heartfelt farewell to Michelle Tipton, who is returning to her hometown to continue teaching. We wish her the very best in their next chapter! She will be very much missed!


Summer Office Hours:

  • June 20 - July 3, Monday through Friday, 8 am - 2 pm
  • July 4 through August 18, Office Closed
  • August 19 - August 29, Monday through Friday, 8 am - 3:30 pm


Back to School Night: Thursday, August 28, 5pm

It's Time To Complete Registration For 2025-2026 School Year!

Skyward: Please log in to complete your registration for next school year. (Skyward link here) If you would like to complete the registration on paper, please visit your school office.

  • If using your phone, log in through your browser, not the Skyward app.

  • Out-of-District Students: Proof of Residence: If you live outside the PT School District boundaries (map here), please complete a choice transfer request here.

  • Spanish Language Forms: If you would like to complete your student's back to school registration forms in Spanish, please visit your school’s office. Thank you! Please note that if you do not complete this registration, your student’s schedule and/or class placement may be delayed.



**NEED HELP WITH REGISTRATION?**


We will have computers and registration specialists available in the office during conferencing week on June 20, 23, 24, and 25 to assist you with completing next year's registration form. You can drop by before or after your conference for assistance. Please allow approximately 20 minutes to fill out your form.

Important End Of The Year Information!

It's the time of year when school Chromebooks need to be returned!


Chromebooks, Power Cords, and Wi-Fi Connectors: Please return checked-out computers and accessories by the last day of in-person classes, or they can be returned during the class conference.


High school students who need a Chromebook to work on credit recovery during the summer will need to come into the office and fill out a new rental contract.

The YMCA: Free Extra Food During School Break

Supplement food needs during school break, youth and families can participate in our "build-your-own-food-box" program at one of four YMCA's pop-up sites (Brinnon, Quilcene, Port Hadlock, or Port Townsend). Choose the foods you love from the Y's big selection of nutritious snacks, fresh produce, meal ingredients, and much more!


For Jefferson County, you adults ( up to age 24) and families with children (ages 0- 18).

SUN Bucks: Free Summer Meals for ages 18 and Under

SUN Bucks, also known as Summer EBT, is a new federal program that provides families with $120 per eligible child to purchase groceries when school is out of session. These benefits will reduce summer food insecurity for 600,000+ children in Washington state.


Who is eligible?

Many students are automatically eligible for SUN Bucks. This includes:


  • Children (of any age) who have completed their school’s Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit form(CNEEB) and are below 185% of the Federal Poverty Line.
  • Children (age 8-18) who are enrolled in certain public assistance programs, such as SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid.


These children will be automatically enrolled in SUN Bucks and do not need to submit an additional application.


All other families with annual household incomes below 185% of the Federal Poverty Line will need to submit an application with DSHS to receive SUN Bucks.
