Legislative Education Advocacy 2019

Register now for the 2019 Legislative Education Advocacy Event sponsored by Iowa's Area Education Agencies. This event will bring together school administrators from across Iowa to learn the most up-to-date legislative insight, and meet with legislators face-to-face at the Capitol.

5:30 p.m.
Legislative update & preparation with education lobbyists in a panel moderated by AEA Executive Director Tom Lane. Panelists include Margaret Buckton, Dave Wilkerson, Matt Eide, and Kate Walton.

6:30 p.m.

Dinner on your own. A list of restaurants is available here. Your AEA chief administrator may also be making arrangements for the superintendents in your AEA.

Tuesday, Feb. 5 - Iowa State Capitol

7:30-9 a.m.

Meet legislators at the Capitol in the Rotunda. Individual meetings with legislators may also be arranged.
