Did you know? Missing just 2 days of school per month can add up to a whole month of lost learning in a year! Consistent attendance is key to student success.

We’re excited to celebrate 8 students who have achieved perfect attendance so far this year! These students have not missed a single day, arrived on time every day, and stayed the entire school day. That’s truly impressive! 👏👏

Board Game Club is going strong! This club is open to 4th - 5th grade students and will meet every Tuesday and Thursday (3:45-5:00).

Parents are welcome to join the Garfield Re-2 School Board Meeting at Highland on February 12th from 5:30–9:30 PM. This is a great opportunity to stay informed and engaged with important school district discussions.

We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Thursday, February 13th! Each class will celebrate in their own way, so be sure to check for details from your child's homeroom teacher.

If your child would like to bring Valentines or treats, please ensure there is enough for the entire class so everyone can participate.

Homework Club is available to every morning in the library, providing students with a quiet space and support to complete their homework before the school day begins. All students are welcomed.

On February 20th-21st, 4th graders have the chance to join a Math Sleep-In! Check your child’s backpack for a packet with details and permission slips—one for the evening event (3:40–7:30 PM) and another for the overnight experience.

Set up Zonar MyView Ridership

1. Download the Zonar MyView app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Enter the School Access Code - GAR1984

3. Enter your child's unique student ID - found on their bus pass.

4. Select the notifications method (via the app or via text message.)

First bell rings at 7:55 ~ Tardy Bell rings at 8:00*

Learning begins at 8:00*

Students who arrive after 8:00 must be signed in by a parent or guardian in the front office.

All visitors must have a valid ID and check in at the front office. This includes parents who walk students into the building and want to stay past the 8:00 bell.
