Mark your calendars! There will be a mandatory Senior Class Meeting on Thursday, September 12th during all lunch periods in the Senior Cafe to cover the important details about graduation and how to order your cap, gown and tassel and keepsakes for the graduation ceremony.
We are proud to partner with Jostens to provide the official school cap, gown and tassel for graduation. The graduation cap, gown and tassel as well as custom announcements, senior apparel, diploma frames, letterman jackets and class rings can be ordered directly on jostens.com. Graduation
Rain or shine The Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony will take place at the Bolingbrook High School on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
Important Dates For Graduates:
Tuesday, May 13 - Last day for senior attendance (unless failing a class needed to graduate)
Friday, May 16 - Last day for a senior to attend and bring up grade(s)
Friday, May 16 - Required Graduation Practice at 7:30am in the BHS Fieldhouse
Graduation tickets and yard signs will be distributed after practice
Sunday, May 18 - Graduation Ceremony at 2:00pm.
Student check-in at 12:30pm through door #2
Important Information for Graduates:
Graduation practice will be held in the fieldhouse on May 16 at 7:30am. All students participating in graduation are expected to attend.
On graduation day, graduates will enter BHS through Door 2 to check-in to their designated area in the B-Wing Classrooms. Graduates may begin entering at 12:30pm. The processional line up will begin promptly at 1:15pm. All graduates participating in the graduation ceremony are required to wear a cap and gown. A studentβs graduation attire may be accessorized with items associated with oneβs cultural, ethnic, or religious identity. Graduation Honor Cords will be provided to students by their BHS club sponsor if the organization is nationally recognized. Fancy flip-flops and flat dress shoes are encouraged, as no heels are allowed on the field. Students will not be allowed to bring cell phones, purses, or other items into the ceremony, so they should plan accordingly.
Important Information for Parents and Ticketed Guests:
Tickets
Each graduate will receive six (6) tickets for an outdoor and three (3) tickets for an indoor ceremony at the conclusion of the required graduation practice Friday, May 16
The Athletic Stadium (used for an outside ceremony) will not accommodate more than 6 tickets per graduate.
The Fieldhouse (used for an indoor ceremony) will not accommodate more than 3 tickets per graduate.
Three (3) additional tickets will be given for the Main Gym projector screen viewing of the live ceremony. Graduates with process and recess through the Main Gym, but ticket holders in the Main Gym will not see the ceremony in-person.
All guests (ages 3 and over) must have a graduation ticket to enter the ceremony.
Once tickets have been issued, no duplicates will be issued if the tickets are lost.
Stadium Availability
Gates will open at 12:30pm for guests to begin seating.
Gates will close promptly at 1:45pm to allow for the student processional to begin.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parking
Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at Bolingbrook High School.
Alternate parking will also be available at Jane Addams Middle School and Independence Elementary School.
Shuttle buses will be available at each alternate parking location from 11:30am to 5:00pm.
Students should try to arrive in the same vehicle with guests due to limited parking.
Handicapped parking will be provided to guests with a handicap placard or license plate.
Professional Photos
Photos will be taken of all graduates as they receive their diploma.
HR Imaging will have portraits available online approximately ten days after the ceremony.
Families will have an opportunity to purchase photos through HR Imaging.
No guests will be allowed on the field during the ceremony to take pictures.
Additional Information
The ceremony will be televised live on BCTV (channel 6) and AT&T (channel 99)
The ceremony will last approximately two hours.
No strollers or balloons will be allowed in the stadium.
After the ceremony, graduates and their guests will be permitted to take photographs together in designated areas around campus.
To respect all graduates, we ask that guests hold their applause until all graduates' names are read.
Accommodated Seating
Accommodated seating is for guests who are physically unable to climb the stairs to sit in the bleachers.
All accommodated seating will be reserved by name.
Contact Virginia Aguilar at 630-679-3442 to make your accommodation seating arrangements by May 9, 2025.
Anyone requesting accommodated seating must have a ticket to get into the stadium.
Inclement Weather
In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place indoors on Sunday, May 18 at 2:00pm at Bolingbrook High School.
