Few can claim to know a building as well as Roy Davis, Timpview High Custodian, does—he knows the needs of the school and the people within it as if it were his own home. As part of Timpview’s first graduating class in 1978, Davis has spent his career caring for the halls he once walked as a student, becoming a school steward through every season and transition. Now, as Timpview continues its construction, Davis prepares to say goodbye to a school and district that have been his life’s work. This year is Roy’s final year with our district, but he doesn’t leave empty-handed; besides the many memories, Timpview High School staff organized a detailed nomination, earning Roy Davis this month’s Provo Way Awards.
