WZID Teacher of the Month
Art teacher Eric Surak was visited by Neal and Marga (Crusader Alum) from WZID's Morning Show. He was chosen as the teacher of the month for September. We are fortunate to have Mr. Surak teaching in our school.
Stem Mobile
We were fortunate to have the STEM-MoBile visit our campus and engage our young scientists!
Southern New Hampshire is rapidly growing in the field of biofrabication. Through hands-on learning, the STEM-MoBile seeks to educate people of all ages about biofabrication and the exciting, lucrative career opportunities in this world-changing field. Students participated in BioBubbles. They used sodium alginate and calcium chloride to make hydrogels with mock cells inside.
Guests from Germany
We are pleased to welcome our German Exchange Students from Kaethe Kollwitz Gymnasium from Manchester's sister city of Neustadt, Germany. There are 16 students and 2 teachers who are visiting for 2.5 weeks. The students attend classes some of the days and go on field trips around New England the other days. They stay with host families for the time they are here.
This program is in its 41st year in Manchester and open to any Manchester high school student at any of the high schools.
If you have any questions about the program, want to become a host or be an ambassador, please email Mrs. Tara Michaud at tmichaud@mansd.org
