Dear Families:
Good Afternoon Families:
This week, the energy in the halls has been palpable as our students gear up for Spirit Week! Everyone is eagerly preparing their assignments, and it's fantastic to see the creativity and enthusiasm from our middle school students as they plan their door decorating projects. Their hard work and dedication to making Spirit Week a memorable experience for the entire school community have truly impressed us.
Additionally, we are excited to wish our debate team the best of luck as they head to Boston for their first major competition of the year. This talented group of students has been putting in hours of practice and preparation, and we know they will represent Pentucket with skill and confdience

AP Award Recipient
PRMHS has earned a place on the College Board's AP School Honor Roll for the 2023-24 school year! In addition to this being our second year being recognized, PRMHS raised our distinction from Bronze (2022/2023 school year) to Silver (2023/2024 school year).
The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools that have done outstanding work to welcome more students into AP courses and support them on the path to college success.
Additionally, PRMHS is being further recognized with the AP Access Award, which honors schools that encourage more low-income and underrepresented minority students to take AP courses. The percentage of students in at least one of these categories who took at least one AP Exam before graduation is proportional to or above your school's student population, demonstrating a clear and effective commitment to equitable access to advanced coursework. Research shows students who take AP courses and exams are more likely to attend college and graduate on time. And even for those who don't earn college credit, advanced coursework provides early exposure to college-level work and contributes to a college-going school culture.
It has taken a considerable schoolwide effort—dedication from teachers, counselors, administrators, students, and parents—to make AP access a priority.
