Principal's Message
Good Evening Yowell Families,
You can view your child's school picture by visiting the Yowell Elementary gallery. You will be asked for your child's name and lunch number. There is one more way to see the school pictures, if you have yet to view your child's school pictures via the email address provided to the school, you will receive a flyer in your child's Tuesday folder. On the flyer, there are directions to order pictures. Please contact Lifetouch with any questions via the phone number and email address on the form.
We have a lot of before school club available for our older students. I implore you to slow down both coming in and leaving the bus loop. There have been reports of cars speeding in and out of the loop. Please slow down for everyone's safety. With that being said, curbside parents please go the whole way around the parking lot when dropping off even if you could cut through the middle. I've seen too many close calls of cars cutting through the middle without looking to see if a car is coming. Recently I timed it and it takes approximately 28 seconds to go from the middle and around back to the middle. For the safety of everyone take an extra 28 seconds and please go the whole way around. We will wait for you.
Our trick or treat night is quickly selling out. As of today, the first session is SOLD OUT. We have enough room for about 30 more families for the second shift. If you are anything like me, you may not have sent in your reservation yet. Please take the time to reserve your spot before both times are sold out. If you need a new flyer, you can request one via the office or your child's teacher. We are truly excited to host this fun evening with the Yowell community.

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here. Also, this is the direct link to transportation.
Parents of students Pre-K through Grade 3 are expected to meet their children at the bus stop. Failure to do so will result in the child(ren) being returned to school. Should you choose to allow your child(ren) to be dropped off without supervision in the afternoon, please fill out and return this document.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
