THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL SCHOOL YEAR!
As the year comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude to you all for the warm welcome and incredible support you've shown. It has been an honor to be part of such an amazing and caring community.
Thank you for trusting us with your children each day. Your partnership and belief in our work has made this year meaningful. We have reached, even surpassed many of our goals, and made some memories along the way.
To our 8th graders and their families—congratulations! We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and wish you nothing but success as you head off to high school. You’ll always be a part of our IHMS family.
To our returning 7th graders, we can't wait to see how you continue to grow and lead next year.
Wishing all of you a restful, joyful summer!

CHEERLEADING
We are excited to offer Cheerleading beginning in the 2025-26 school year!
IHMS Cheerleading squad tryouts will be held at the beginning of the school year. Student-athletes will be able to try out for three squads. Students will only try out once to be considered for their squad(s) of choice. The different squads will allow students to still participate in other sports, if they choose. For example, a student could play volleyball and basketball then potentially cheer during the other basketball season.
1st quarter Cheer Squad- Football season
2nd quarter Cheer Squad- Girls Basketball season
3rd quarter Cheer Squad- Boys Basketball season
As Cheerleading was recently approved for next school year, some details remain to be determined, including hiring of personnel. More information will be shared as these details are settled.
