Happy Holidays
As we end school for the 2019 year, I am so thankful for the gift of getting to work with the students at Great Lakes on a daily basis. Great Lakes truly is a special school and I love getting to work here. I am wishing you and your family the happiest of holidays. I hope your break will be spent with friends and family and filled with laughter.
As we break for two weeks, it is important to continue to make time for reading to or with your child. Over break my family plans to finish reading The Invention of Hugo Cabret and also continue on in the journey of the Harry Potter series. If you are reading a great book with your family please feel free to share it with me on Twitter. You can tag me on Twitter @DaveStefanich. I will be sure to give it a like and check out the book you and your family are reading.
My best,
Mr. Stefanich
Happy Holidays
Wishing you the very best on our holiday break!
The Invention of Hugo Cabret
This is a great read aloud that I am currently reading with my family. It is a mixture of text and pictures and an amazing story.
Won't You Be My Neighbor
Our Young Kinder crew said goodbye to their awesome student teacher this week. We wish Ms. Nicole the very best!
PTO HELP
We are still looking to grow our PTO. If we are not able to get more active members on our PTO we fear that the PTO might not exist in future years. The PTO is a great way to get involved at school and it also does a ton to support the students and teachers at Great Lakes. If you would like more information on how you can get involved please contact Mr. Stefanich directly.
