Board Briefs

• Election results were announced.
• The Oath of Office was administered to the following new Board members: Ms. Pamela Cassidy, Ms. Linda Rad, and Mr. David Rizza. And the following returning member: Mr. Paulo Lopes.
• Mr. David Rizza was elected Board President, and Ms. Ellen DePinto was elected as Board Vice President.
• The 2025 Board of Education calendar was approved.
• Delegates and Commitees were approved for Board President's appointment.
• Current Board bylaws, policies, and regulations were adopted.
• The Code of Ethics was adopted.
• The Courier News and the Daily Record were approved as the primary official weekly newspapers for 2025 legal notices, and the Star Ledger, The Hunterdon County Democrat, Tapinto, and The CHronicle as the alternate newspapers for 2025 legal notices.

• Dr. Hart welcomed re-elected and newly elected board members Ms. Cassidy, Mr. Lopes, Ms. Rad, and Mr. Rizza. Dr. Hart congratulated Mr. Rizza and Ms. DePinto on being appointed Board President and Vice-President. Dr. Hart introduced our Board Attorney, Jennifer Osbourne, Methfessel & Werbel to present the Code of Ethics.

• Mr. Rizza, Board President will be reaching out to all Board members with regard to the appointment of committee members and delegates.
• The Board of Education yearbook photo is scheduled for the January 21, 2025 meeting.

The next Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., and will be held in person in the Board Conference Room in the Board of Education office wing of Holland Brook School.
