What is the Pyramid Model?

The Pyramid Model is a framework of evidence-based practices for promoting young children’s healthy social and emotional development.

The Pyramid Model works in conjunction with the program’s curriculum, but is not a curriculum itself.

Who uses the Pyramid Model?

The Pyramid Model provides guidance for:

• early childhood special education personnel
• early intervention personnel
• early educators
• families

It is important to arrive at school, on time, every day. Every minute of the student’s day is dedicated to make sure we are making the most of each learning opportunity. Strive towards scheduling a bedtime for your scholar. Set an alarm to arise in the mornings, if you noticed getting out of the house is a challenge. School is important! If you had challenges with arrival and dismissal, our Family Support Specialist will be in contact with you soon. Please also be mindful of appointment days. It is best to still send you child to school if you have an early morning appointment or schedule the appointment late so your child can still be present most of the day.

How can I share my concern, provide feedback or suggestions

• Complete the Bus Transportation Complaint and Feedback Form.

What happens when I submit my complaint/feedback?

• Your complaint will be investigated and someone will call or email you to address your concern.

• CCSD Transportation staff monitors this log to ensure concerns are being addressed in a timely manner.

Now that we have had some time in school, we wanted to explain the dismissal routines. If you have a student that normally rides the bus and you want to change how they get home, by making them a car rider, or having them ride another bus, you must fill out this log, so that we have the request in writing and then we will relay the message to the teacher and child. We cannot take messages over the phone. There have been people calling in the past saying they were the parent and was not, so please understand that this is for safety. Click the button below.
