We had a successful Back to School Night last evening and we thank all of our parents for coming out to support our students and staff. As I shared last night, the home and school connection is one of the most important factors of a student having a successful school experience.

Thank you for coming early to take part in Hidden in Plain Sight. We also thank our School Resource Officer Bill Juliano for being there to take part in the evening. If you have any follow up questions, please feel free to reach out to your child's counselor.

Tonight from 5:00-6:30 is our 6th Grade Fun Night at PV. Permission slips were given out at lunch and they can also be found here: 6th Grade Fun Night

School picture retake day is November 5th. If your child missed pictures this week or would like a retake, that will be the date to do it. More information will follow.

The first HSA dine out event of the year is set for October 23rd at Jersey Mike’s in Lincoln Park from 5:00-9:00. Rumor has it that Dr. Portas, Ms. Ringen, and Mr. Seborowski might be making sandwiches that night.

PV is hosting a fall night out for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students on Friday, October 4th from 6:30-9:00 at PV. The cost is $10. There will be carnival games and other activities for students. Pizza and other snacks will be available to purchase. More information to follow.

The Morris County Vocational Schools will present to 8th grade students on 10/15 at 1:45. Parents are welcome to come and can remain after students are dismissed to ask any questions.
