Did you know that March is National Reading Month? Originally created in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, National Reading Month offers an important opportunity to encourage reading and to foster a love of books for children across the country.

Memorial Elementary School's March Madness Read-a-Thon is going on now through April 19! Students who raise over $50 will get a free book and an entry into a raffle for an Amazon gift card. Students who raise over $50 before April 1 will get a free book at the book fair! More details at: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/memorial24

• March 29 & 30: MHS Tournament of Plays, 7pm
• March 31: Easter Sunday
• April 2: FY25 Budget Hearing - 5pm
• April 4: School Committee Meeting - 6pm
• April 15-19: Spring Break

Murdock High School presents the annual Morton E. Converse Tournament of Plays on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th. Each class will present a one-act play of 30 minutes or less. An intermission will be held after the first two plays. Awards will be given on Saturday night following the performances. Tickets are $7.00 each and can be purchased from any cast member in advance or at the door. Seating is general admission.

MCAS testing is right around the corner! Look for updates from your child's school building for more information.

Starting April 1, Fresh Picks Cafe will be launching a brand new, state of the art mobile platform that brings menu planning, nutrition and real time allergen information to your fingertips! FDMealPlanner will replace the Fresh Picks Cafe district webpages and will provide easy access to school menus from your mobile device or PC.

Visit www.fdmealplanner.com to get started or download the FDMealPlanner app to your mobile device. This will be available April 1, 2024.

Fresh Picks Cafe will be introducing Meatless Mondays to the WPS Cafeteria options. Dishes with meat will still be offered on Mondays, in addition to new, meatless options.
