Counselor-Senior Meetings: Preparing for Your Future
As we move into an exciting time of the year, our school counselors are here to support seniors as they prepare for life after graduation. Whether you’re considering college, entering the workforce, or exploring other postsecondary options, we want to ensure every student has the resources and guidance they need to succeed.
What’s Happening: School Counselors will be scheduling individual meetings with seniors. These meetings are designed to provide personalized support as students finalize their postsecondary plans.
What to Expect: During these meetings, counselors will cover:
- College Applications: Deadlines, essay tips, and choosing the right schools.
- Scholarships & Financial Aid: How to find and apply for scholarships, and other financial aid opportunities.
- Workforce Readiness: Exploring career pathways, resume writing, and interview preparation.
- Alternative Paths: Military options, trade schools, and apprenticeships.
How to Prepare:
- Bring any questions or concerns you may have.
- Come prepared with a list of schools, jobs, or other plans you're considering.
- If you haven’t started the college or job application process, don’t worry! We’ll help you take the first steps.
