Montbello Middle Family Update

Families, a reminder that school will not be in session for students on October 14th. We will use the day for our Parent/Family Teacher Conferences. Conferences will take place from 8am to 4pm. Interpreters will be available. Join us in the gym so you can hear about the progress your student is making so far this year!

This Wednesday, October 16th, will be an Early Release Wednesday. Students will be released at 1:30pm

Parents, as a reminder, when picking up your student and leaving the school, the turn onto Kittredge St is a Right Turn Only. Please do not attempt to make a left turn so that there is a steady flow of traffic. Also, please DO NOT PARK in the Bus Loading Zone. Busses may not always show on time, but we need to keep the area clear for when they do arrive. Thank you for your support!

Parents, we desperately need your help. A number of students have been making the poor choice after school to go to the park between the school and the Montbello Recreation Center. While not all, there are students who are going to the park to either engage in fights or watch and record others fighting. Because these conflicts are coming back onto the school and interfering with the education of students, we are addressing them as disciplinary issues where appropriate. Please communicate with your students about this unsafe behavior. As a school we will increase our presence at the park after school.

Montbello Middle School and RMP will host our annual school community event, Trunk or Treat on Friday October 25th from 5pm - 7pm.

This is a fun event for all the families in our community.

If you would like to participate in this event in any way, we would love to have you.

If you would like to decorate your car trunk and pass out candy, volunteer to help set up or clean up, or donate candy we would greatly appreciate it.
