Inquiry Based Learning Spotlight

PreK Dinosaur Museum

Ms. Mahakian and Mrs. Hughes Prek Class created a dinosaur museum to share their knowledge about dinosaurs.

T-Rex skeleton

The scholars presented their exhibits and what they have learned about dinosaurs, habitats, fossils, paleontologists, and extinction. There was a T-rex skeleton, fossil dig, and various interactive stations lead by the scholars.

Habitat

They students demonstrated math, writing, questioning, research, collaboration and presentation skills. What an amazing experience! The scholars did a fantastic job!

Word of the month- Sustainability

Another word for "environmentally friendly" is "sustainable." Sustainability encompasses practices and behaviors that aim to minimize harm to the environment, conserve natural resources, and promote ecological balance for present and future generations
