This week will be the start of our 5th 6 Weeks grading period at HJH! It's hard to believe how fast things are going. Before we know it, the school year will be coming to an end. As a part of our reward program for good behavior and attendance, we will be hosting Bulldog Club for student on Friday!

As we enter the few weeks leading up to spring break, we want to remind parents that cheer tryouts will be held on March 13th this school year!

Our teachers and staff have been hard at work putting together intervention and enrichment work for all of our students here at HJH! Junior High can be a tough time socially, emotionally, and academically for students. While we know that our teens and pre-teens face many challenges, we want to assure parents that we are committed to addressing all of the needs of our students. We also want to thank you all for partnering with us this year to do what is best for our students and your children!

Last week was the final week of our 4th 6 Weeks here at HJH! As mentioned above, report cards will be going home on Wednesday. Our teachers and staff are progressing through the scope of their curriculums and will be coming to an end very soon. Much of the final 6 weeks will be reviewing concepts that have been learned throughout the school year.

Extracurricular Highlights:

Last week was a cold one and much of our athletics training was conducted indoors. As our JH Athletics program prepares for track season, our 6th grade students participated in HCYA basketball this Saturday!

We have several students participating in FFA and Ag currently. We are so proud of their dedication inside and outside of school!

HJH OAP is working on their 2nd semester performance of "The Trial of Goldilocks" and will be ready to perform in the near future!

HJH Band continues to work hard as they prep for the future!
