ALL BULLDOG
March 24-28, 2025 Marysville Jr/Sr High School #dogproud364
Principal's Note
Greetings Marysville Family,
I've wrote several times about March Madness and how it's one of my favorite times of the year. The intensity and emotion rises to levels not seen during the regular season. But this little diatribe is about the shooting shirts. Three years ago, I used the "All In" phrase that Nike put on 2022's shooting shirts for our school theme. This year's shirt by Nike is "Nothing Easy" and borrows from the old saying: "Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy." Determination and a refusal to use shortcuts leads to success. Words to live as we start our state assessments this week. Take your time, be determined, and do your best. Have a great week!

Junior Class Tours Washburn/Washburn Tech
The Marysville Junior/Senior High School Junior Class visited Topeka a couple weeks ago and got to see one of the premier technical colleges in Kansas at Washburn Tech and before that got to visit Washburn University. It was an eye-opening visit for many and well worth the trip!

Kiwanis Banquet Honors Academic Work
The week before spring break saw the annual Kiwanas Scholarship Banquet take place in the junior high gym. It was an evening of great food, a great message from Leonard Wolfe, president of United Bank, and a celebration of hard work in the classroom. That is the freshmen class in the picture above after receiving their certificates. Congratulations to all the award recipients!
NCKL Basketball Honors
Congratulations to Will Otott on his unanimous All-NCKL selection for this years boys basketball season. Also a big congrats to Lindsey Dressman and Kacy Roesch for All-NCKL honors as well.
2025 Geo-caching Champs
The weather-delayed day of geo-caching took place at Alcove Springs before Spring Break and the day proved to be some of the best weather so far. These four freshmen proved to be the best geo-cachers in the freshmen class: (L-R) Mackenzie Smith, Madison Volle, Jacob Behrens, and Isobel Chrisco.
Baseball/Softball Is In the Air
Dakota Slupianek is congratulated after a home run Saturday at the Baseball Jamboree held at Rock Creek. Both the baseball team and softball teams start their seasons at home Tuesday against Sabetha. Come out and enjoy the weather and a great game or two!
