Columbian Exchange VS Internet
The Effects and The Similarities Between the Two
Columbian Exchange
Columbian exchange is what happened when the Americas, or the New World, would exchange items in trade with European countries. This early trading partnership benefited both parties because each region had products that the other needed or wanted.
Columbian Exchange is a very old concept (inspired by Christopher Columbus) of trading goods and services. Some people cannot obtain certain things in their own country and have things that other people cannot obtain anywhere else. So people trade things they have for things they need.
Internet
The Internet is the global system of interconnected computer networks that use the Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to link billions of devices worldwide. It is a network of networks that consists of millions of private, public, academic, business, and government networks of local to global scope, linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless, and optical networking technologies.
The Internet is very similar to the columbian exchange, over the internet everyone anywhere worldwide with an internet connection can share things that people might not know or have in there conversation. Social networking sites such as Twitter and Tumblr are a prime example because everyday people can obtain information from reading what someone that could be across the world has typed. The information you couldn't have gotten otherwise.
