Hello Huntley families,
Wow, what a fantastic and busy first week back at school! The students were all smiles and loved being back with their friends (see pictures below). We have been learning about school-wide expectations, going over recess rules and games, and have practiced some of our safety drills this week. In addition, we met with your child's class to go over the school policies that are a part of the AASD Student/Family Policy handbook (linked here). Please see the attached district presentation slides that we shared with our Huntley students this week.

This is just a friendly reminder that supervision outside (at the start of the day) starts at 8:10am. We kindly ask that students are not on the playground equipment at that time and head to their door and line up spots. This helps our supervisors monitor the bus line, bike racks, in addition to the multiple entrance doors. Supervision at the end of the day goes until 3:30pm. If your child is not picked up at that time, supervisors will bring them to the office to wait for their ride. We ask that students and families hold off playing on the playground equipment until after 3:30pm to ensure we have all students accounted for with an adult. We appreciate your patience and understanding with our drop off and pick up procedures.
