Hillcrest E-TECH Newsletter
January 2025

From the Desk of Ms. Ulloa
Hillcrest E-TECH students continue to show success in their dual credit courses. In the fall, students have maintained “Dual-Credit Success Rates” as well as having a
“Success Rate over 80%”. This semester we have a collective 735 dual credit course enrollments. This is one of the highest we have had since this program started. Thank you to our parents for ensuring your children keep up with schoolwork, to our students for putting in the hard work, and to our teachers & counselors who serve as facilitators checking student progress on a weekly basis!
Our 9th & 10th grade will be finishing this week with STAAR simulation exams. This is to get some data as to where our students have strengths and where we will need added support to increase their success during the EOC state STAAR tests which will be given in April-May. Students, this is the time to push through and push hard to end the year in a GREAT way. Tutorials are available Monday-Thursday; see your teacher for specific days. We do this together!
Teamwork makes the Dream Work!
