Congratulations to Pammy Lin for being selected to be a BigFuture Ambassador. BigFuture is a resource from the College Board that helps students plan their future be it college or a career they want to pursue. BigFuture allows students to explore careers that match their interests and passions, find colleges based on what the students want, find scholarships and learn how they can afford to attend college and receive messages that help plan their future. Congratulations to Catelyn Cruz-Gonzalez, Elizabeth Ma, Kailia Garfield, Victoria Yang, Anya Shafer, Kristine Sy, Andrea Zheng for being named finalists in the Roatary Ethics Essay Contest.. Andrea Zheng will be moving on to represent Mark Keppel at the next level.

Through the incredible work of our AMAZING MKHS PTSA, we have the PTSA giving garden. The PTSA Giving Garden is a collection of donated items to support our MKHS school community members who have lost items (clothes/appliances/childrens items, etc). If you, or someone you know, would benefit by receiving some of the items from the PTSA Giving Garden, please contact the Office of Business and Activities at (626) 943-6720 for more information.

Congratulations to the coaches and players of our Girl's Basketball team for taking the Division 3AA CIF title. They beat Grossmont High School on Tuesday, 3/4/25 and will continue their quest for a State championship as they play Rancho Bernardo High School on Thursday, 3/6/25. We wish them luck!

MKHS was proud to host South Korean exchange students February 18th through February 26. The exchange students were able to follow student schedules, visit Los Angeles Landmarks such as Olvera Street and The Broad Museum. Our MKHS students who hosted the exchange students will be going to South Korea on March 28th - April 6th. See the pictures below:

Senior Reminders

• Senior Contracts are due Friday, March 14th. Students received their senior contracts during the month of February during their panoramic pictures.

• Seniors can now purchase their Cap and Gowns as well as other graduation items. The purchase these items online, please go to: https://www.academicapparel.com/product/mark-keppel/

• Our last day to purchase Grad Nite tickets to Disneyland California Adventure will be on March 19th. Tickets are almost sold out and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. More information will be posted on the school website.
