Thank you so much for your cooperation the first full week of school. Our learners are all settling into their routines as they learn more about their classmates and teachers. Our teachers have been implementing our new behavior initiative- Positive Action. We are reminding our learners to use their words and not their hands as we would never want to hurt one of our friends. Lastly, we encourage our learners to find the positives in all situations.

This is a reminder that Back to School Night will be next week for Grades K-2 and then Grades 3-5.

We will offer 2 sessions from 6:30-7:10pm and 7:15-8:00pm each night.

September 18th will be for Grades K-2

September 19th will be for Grades 3-5

These are informative sessions for Parents/Guardians, therefore children should not attend Back to School Night.

We want to thank everyone for their cooperation and help in making sure the Drop Off Zone is safe for our learners. If you have multiple children that you are picking up, we will be having them stand in one spot to make it easier for you during pick up.

If your child is in Fourth or Fifth Grade and you want to pick up your child and you are not in a car, please meet your child near the Media Center doors.

All fire drills and our lockdown drills for the month have been completed for September.

Please make sure you have logged into the portal to find out your child’s teacher and their room number. All forms must be completed to find out your child’s teacher.

If you need assistance getting onto the portal, John Marshall School is offering assistance on the following dates:

September 26th from 3:45pm- 5:00pm

Please go by the Media Center doors and someone will be there to assist you.

John Marshall School will host it's 1st Title 1 Family Night on September 24th. It will be a TangMath Family Night and it is sure to ROCK! Information and registration information for the event will be sent out next week.

John Marshall School is excited for another year filled with PTO activities. We encourage all families to join the PTO for this school year. The PTO is also excited for our online school store so students can show their John Marshall School Spirit. Please be sure to read all about the PTO here.
