Strategic Planning
Over the past five months, our building leadership teams have come together at various times to provide valuable feedback on shaping our district’s mission and vision. This collaborative effort has been instrumental in ensuring our direction reflects the voices of our educators and leaders. We have now reached the stage where Mr. Wigle will present refined versions of this work to the board in April for finalization—defining our moral purpose (Mission) and our desired future state (Vision). Engaging our staff in this process has been a key priority, as their insights are essential to shaping a shared path forward. Once our mission and vision are finalized, we will shift our focus to refining our five-year strategic plan, ensuring alignment with our long-term goals for student success.

Each month we will link the building level newsletter on the district wide communication. As feedback comes in, we will make adjustments as needed. Thanks!
Communication Outlets
We have a variety of ways to stay connected with all things FCSD. Please check out these options connected to the district as a whole, and like or follow them!

Growth
Growth and change in a school setting can be challenging. This isn't because we don’t want what’s best for our students, but because it pushes us beyond what’s comfortable. Real growth requires us to reflect, adapt, and sometimes unlearn old habits. But when we embrace the discomfort, we create the space for something better: stronger teams, deeper learning, and a system where every student thrives. Change isn’t easy, but neither is staying the same when we know we can continue to do better. As we dive into this last trimester please know that we will continue to find ways to change for the better.
