Message from Principal Bacon
Dear RCP Families,
Hope you are enjoying the sunny weather! Next Monday (1/27) and Tuesday (1/28) are grading and planning days for teachers so there will not be school. Report cards will be available through ParentVue or sent home on Friday, January 31st.
Tet Celebration: This time of year is an exciting and festive time for our Vietnamese families and communities. Tet (the Vietnamese New Year) happens next week on Wednesday, January 29th and our community will be celebrating Tet with a major community event at McDaniel High School on Friday, February 7th at 5:15. Open to all families. Please join us if you can. Details below.
RCP Parking Lot: Our parking lot is small and reserved for staff only. Please use street parking for drop off in the morning and pick up at dismissal. The lot will be closed during drop off and pick up.
Friday Compost Volunteers: We are in need of additional volunteers to help with Food Waste Composting on Fridays. Please see details HERE.
Vote for Your PTO Board Members: The success of any school relies heavily on the partnership with parents and community. The RCP Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a critical partner in supporting, guiding and advocating for our kids and school. Please take a moment to vote for your PTO board members at this LINK.
