Dear Regina Community,

We are off to a great start! Thank you to our students for starting the year so well. The common issues that go with starting the school year have been minimal. Please take some time to express our gratitude to your student(s) for the great start to the year.

The link to the assignment page for 2024-2025 is below as well as the link to Bound, our new school calendar. The dates for our Spirit Days are listed below. This list is tentative and will be finalized this week. Changes will be made to the list and sent out if the dates change.

Pope Francis' intentions for September are for the cry of the Earth. "We pray that each one of us will hear and take to heart the cry of the Earth and of victims of natural disasters and climactic change, and that all will undertake to personally care for the world in which we live." The prayer below is from Laudato Si, Pope Francis' encyclical that focuses on the environment.

All-powerful God, you are present in the whole universe and in the smallest of your creatures.

You embrace with your tenderness all that exists. Pour out upon us the power of your love, that we may protect life and beauty. Fill us with peace, that we may live as brothers and sisters, harming no one. O God of the poor, help us to rescue the abandoned and forgotten of this earth, so precious in your eyes. Bring healing to our lives, that we may protect the world and not prey on it, that we may sow beauty, not pollution and destruction. Touch the hearts of those who look only for gain at the expense of the poor and the earth. Teach us to discover the worth of each thing, to be filled with awe and contemplation, to recognize that we are profoundly united with every creature as we journey towards your infinite light. We thank you for being with us each day. Encourage us, we pray, in our struggle for justice, love and peace.

Homecoming is the week of September 23. Details for dress-up days and Friday's activities are still being worked out. Those details will be shared with you as soon as they are finalized.

Powderpuff football and Ironman volleyball will be Wednesday, September 25 at 6:00pm. The game vs. Cascade is Friday night at 7:00. The dance will be at the school on Saturday night from 7-9pm.

We will have Regina Spirit days throughout the year. The dates below will be Regina Spirit Days.

Students are allowed to wear Regina Activities, Club, or other Regina clothing on these days. Bottoms can be jeans, sweatpants, or any dress code bottom. (No yoga pants, leggings, or athletic shorts.)
