President's Message
Standing Strong for Our Students
Our educators continue to lead with care and dedication during these uncertain times. On Tuesday, numerous ATA unit members supported our most vulnerable students, ensuring they felt seen, valued, and safe in our schools. In response to the fear and anxiety caused by recent executive orders, we had a clear goal: to ensure that our campuses remain safe spaces for everyone, no matter the challenges outside.
This gathering was a testament to our unity and the unwavering commitment to inclusivity that we hold dear in our Association. We understand that our students come from various backgrounds, and we are resolute in creating and maintaining inclusive environments where they can learn and grow.
Our community’s strength comes from our support for one another. Thank you to every educator who participated—your presence and advocacy make a real difference. We stand together, committed to the well-being of our students and each other.

Kaiser Monthly Health Topic: Supported Caregivers
Three-quarters of US employees are balancing caregiving with their careers.1 Caregivers are often so focused on their responsibility to their loved one that they neglect caring for themselves. In addition, physical and emotional stress take a tollon caregivers by manifesting as hypertension, anxiety and depression – all of which lead to a higher risk of heart disease.2 Heart health directly impacts bothindividual well-being and overall workplace productivity, absenteeism, employee engagement, and healthcare costs. Employers can play a crucial role in supporting caregivers.
