Principal Guyton's Welcome
Greetings Eagle Families,
The month of August has been a success here in Eagle land! Our Glow in the Dark dance was a success. We appreciate your support with this annual tradition. I enjoyed shaking a leg and watching our scholars smile and have fun.
This month scholars have learned the Essential Agreements in the classroom and throughout the common areas of our school. Scholars are building positive relationships with peers and staff members. We are finding out more about ourselves, likes/dislikes, favorite subjects, etc. I enjoy watching our scholars learn and grow each day. It makes my heart happy!
September is here! Although we are entering the fall, we know that Texas weather is still blazing hot! Please be sure to send scholars with a water bottle daily. If scholars are wearing sweaters/jackets, be sure to label them so they can easily be located if lost.
One of our campus and district goals is to collaboratively engage in opportunities with 100% of families, as well as new and existing community partners. This month is filled with multiple family engagement events (Principal's Coffee, Grandparents Day, Back to School Night.) In order to build positive relationships and work together as a family, we want to work closely with you throughout the school year. Hope to see you there. Let's remember, communication is key. Clear is kind! Please connect with your scholar's teacher, office staff, or an administrator if you have any questions or suggestions. We would love to hear them.
Sticking together and staying SHARP,
Camela Guyton, Proud PME Principal

🚌Transportation Changes 🚗
CAR TAGS
Every family will receive car rider tags. These tags should be made visible to the staff on duty in the pick-up line. Please place them on your dash or attach them to your car visor. You must have your car rider tag, if not you will need to show your ID every time you pick up your child. These procedures have been established to ensure your child’s safety. If your family is needing a new car tag please contact your teacher.
Changes need to be made by 1:00 pm
If you need to pick your child up early or drop them off late, you will need to come into the office to sign in/out your child . If there will be a change of transportation or early pickup for your child, you will need to notify the office/teacher before 1:00 p.m. Transportation changes after this time will not be accepted. Once a child loads a school bus, they will not unload except in the case of an emergency or special circumstance.
