- December 20, 2024 - Teacher Work Day/no school for students
- December 20, 2024 - End of month pay date
- December 23, 2024 - January 3, 2025 - Winter Break for students
- December 24, 2024 - January 1, 2025 - District Offices Closed
- January 2, 2025 - District offices reopen
- January 3, 2025 - District Professional Learning Day for staff, no school for students
- January 6, 2025 - Students return for first day of second semester
District Highlights
Back-to-Back State Champions!
Congratulations, to the Greenbrier High School Back-to-Back Girl's Flag Football State Champions! They shut out North Oconee High School 18-0 at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Monday, December 16, 2024. Way to go student-athletes and coaches!

Principal for a Day welcomes community partners
CCSD Foundation awards $500 mini grants to 10 teachers
Your CCSD Foundation recently surprised 10 teachers with a $500 fine arts mini-grant, to enhance fine arts programs across the district. The grants are made possible with proceeds from the inaugural CCSD Arts at the Plaza student showcase held last spring. Click here.

Staff Recognitions
Dr. Crystal Fleming - ESOL teacher at Harlem High School and Harlem Middle School, recently earned a Doctorate in Curriculum Studies from Georgia Southern University.
Ms. Alice Dorn - teacher at Riverside Middle School, recently earned a Master of Education in Instruction, with a concentration in Secondary Mathematics, from Augusta University.
