CLUB MEETING DAYS SUMMARY
Club meeting days/times are subject to change. Make sure you're communicating with your club leader for real time information.
DISMISSAL FROM CLUBS REMINDER
If your student(s) is/are participating in any after school clubs, please be sure to update PikMyKid to reflect the club they will be attending. If you do not see the club option, please call the school to assist you.
ATTENDANCE MATTERS
The beginning of school often leads to more minor student illnesses. This is a reminder that parents are allowed to submit up to 10 notes for excused absences themselves for the entire school year. These handwritten notes should be sent in to your child’s teacher to be turned into the office or can be digitally uploaded through FOCUS Parent Portal.
Professional excused notes from a doctor or dentist office, or court are always accepted to excuse absences.
Once a parent has used their 10 total excused notes, ONLY professional notes will excuse student absences and ALL other absences will be unexcused. Please refer to the student code of conduct for greater detail on attendance policies.
Absence Excuse Notes
Below is an absence excusal note form that you can download and print. Otherwise, you can send in a handwritten note that includes the same information requested.
MORNING DROP OFF
Please remember that we do not provide child supervision until 7:05 a.m. We ask that you keep your student(s) in your car until that time. We will then open the doors for students to get breakfast or go to class at 7:05 a.m. If you are dropping your student(s) off in the mornings, keep in mind that the drop off time is fastest between 7:05 and 7:20.
We want to make sure all of our students stay safe while on campus.
ADOPT A CLASSROOM
Adoptions are still OPEN
There are a few classrooms that have not been adopted quite yet, please consider donating to our teachers. We appreciate your generosity and support for our teachers and students. If you haven't already, please check out our donation site and search for your student's teacher(s).
