Tuesday, November 5 is a scheduled Digital Learning Day (DLD) for all students.
This is the second of four at-home asynchronous learning days this school year that will provide additional planning time for teachers.
Note that students can access lessons in eCLASS but will not have virtual class time with their teachers on these scheduled DLDs.
On Tuesday, November 5, GCPS will provide meals via bus distribution. Families should expect buses to run their routes from approximately 10:45 a.m. to noon, beginning at the first stops on the route. These delivered meals are provided at no cost to families, and are provided to anyone 18 years old and under.
Did you know? Chronic absenteeism is missing 10% or more of school days. That’s just 2 days a month! In GCPS, regular attendance is key to student success.
Chronic absenteeism is widely defined as missing 10% or more of the number of school days a student is enrolled. In Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS), where a school year consists of 180 days, 18 missed school days, whether excused or unexcused, would be considered chronically absent.

The kids had a fantastic 9-week PBIS prize of a Movie & Popcorn! Thank you for all the support with our only PBIS fundraiser. The PBIS Committee earned over $2000 that will be used for 9-week prizes and to stock the Cubby Cash store!
We would like to thank the following families for sending in donations for the Cubby Cash store: Herndon-Bodfish Family, Liao Family, Mashburn Family, MJ Family, Reader Family, K. Rodriguez Family.

Red Ribbon Week is a national drug prevention and awareness campaign that began with the murder of Enrique Camarena, an undercover DEA agent, in 1985.
Coalitions began to form by those outraged by his death and the devastation drugs in this country caused - they wore red ribbons to honor him.
By wearing a red ribbon in October, Americans pledge their opposition to drug abuse.
Across the nation, students are pledging to avoid tobacco, drugs, alcohol, and violence.
DID YOU KNOW? Children of parents who talk to teens regularly about drugs are 42% less likely to use drugs than those who don’t – yet only a quarter of teens report having these conversations?!
The 2024 RED RIBBON WEEK theme is…Life is A Movie, Film Drug Free.™
Visit www.redribbon.org to learn more about Red Ribbon Week® and get tips for talking to your kids about drugs.
Join Camp Creek Principal, Ms. Valerie Robinett, to discuss GCPS happenings, local school issues and trends, and all things Camp Creek. There will also be time designated for Q&A.
