Hang on to your umbrella, next week will be a busy one!

• Wednesday: Spring Photos & Dress Down Day,
• Thursday: No school, AND the first night of Mary Poppins
• Friday: Mass, Stations of the Cross and is second showing of Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins is another, not to be missed event at OLVCS, I hope to see you there. (details below)

We will be using Finalsite (previously SchoolAdmin) for our re-enrollment. The Diocese was hoping all schools would be able to use PowerSchool, but this year it is not quite ready for OLVCS. You will receive an email from Finalsite with information for re-enrollment.

This is an important step for our preparation for the next school year. We set up our budget, order textbooks and supplies, determine schedules, and make personnel changes (if any) based on enrollment numbers. It is important for us to work with accurate numbers.

I will send a follow-up email and you will also receive a hard copy of the information, which will include the tuition rates, and additional information.

Finally, we have an immediate opening for a Part-time Webmaster. Details are below.

You won’t want to miss this 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 show filled with music and fun for the whole family! Tickets will be sold at the door!🎫

We are looking for a creative person to join the OLVCS staff as the part-time webmaster. Duties for this paid position include creating and editing content, updating and maintaining web pages, and general management of the OLVCS website. Hours are variable; estimated: 4 -10 hours per week. Experience with website design and management is a plus, but not required. Great position for someone who loves OLVCS, has strong communication skills, and needs work flexibility. For more information, contact Mrs. Weakland at weaklands@olvcs.org.

• The Service Club is excited to be holding a crayon collection for The Crayon Initiative, which recycles old crayons into new crayons for kids in hospitals around the country!

• We will be gathering the collection boxes and donating the recycled crayons on April 16th.

We got that! Sign up now to pray to 15 min one day per week for the students, teachers, and administrations of OLV and Saint Joseph's - that's only 6 times! Lent began on March 5th, but you can still sign up at https://stjoeacad.org/parents-praying/. You will receive an email reminder each week, to help you "keep on praying." Our goal is to have one parent, grandparent, or friend of OLV and Saint Joseph's to be praying for our schools on each of the 40 days of Lent.

• If you are wanting a way to give back to OLVCS and want to earn service hours, sign up today!
• Mr. Stec will work with Middle School students twice a month on projects around the school that need attention. Students are able to sign up week to week. They do not need to commit to the entire semester.

• All 5th and 6th grade OLVCS girls are invited to join in this fun, after school club.
• April 7, 8, 9, and 11, 2:30 – 4PM.
• At each session, participants will learn and practice volleyball skills, including passing, setting, attacking and serving. Drills and game play will be included.

PreSchool WILL be open on March 27th and following a normal schedule!

There are a few spots still available at OLV Preschool for the 2025/2026 school year. Join our preschool family led by highly qualified teachers. Program, tuition rates and registration information for the 2025-26 school year can be found on the OLVCS website: https://preschool.olvcatholicschool.org/

OLV Preschool is currently looking for a couple certified teachers and aides as well as an administrative assistant for the 2025/2026 school year. We have several wonderful staff members who are retiring at the end of this year, who will be greatly missed, and are actively seeking to fill those spots. If hired as a teacher in the Fall, you receive a tuition discount for your children enrolled in OLVPS and OLVCS!

• Teach in the mornings and have the rest of the day for personal responsibilities.

• If you only want to work in the afternoons, join our ESP (Extended School Program) staff.

• Start working as a substitute aide or teacher now and let us see the work you can do!

• We have an amazing staff and wonderful environment. It is a great place to work!

Cost: Haluski $8.00,

Cost: Pierogies $12.00 per dozen

Pierogi Options available:

• freshly made with butter and onions;
• frozen plain
• frozen jalapeno
• frozen bacon.

Sold in front of OLV Activities Center in a drive thru manner, from 3:00pm to 5:15pm, or until sold out.

This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours. Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
