A Note from Mr. Barney
This week we had activities for students who reached their IXL goal and students who were part of our A day recognition. It is worth noting that the students who attended the trip as part of our A day recognition received very positive feedback regarding how they conducted themselves while on the trip. I appreciate the work put in to get to the trip, and the conduct of our students who attended the trip. We strive to make the middle school experience a positive one for all of our students. A big thank you to our assistant principals, Ms. Hite and Mrs. Dumire. They put the work in to make the A-day activities happen for our students, thank you Ms. Hite and Mrs. Dumire.
As the calendar turns to November, keep in mind that there are some breaks in instruction that can sometimes cause us to get out of routine. School will be closed on November 5 for election day, and November 11 for the Veterans Day holiday. Additionally, school will be closed the week of November 25 for the Thanksgiving holiday. I encourage our students to try to stay in some type of routine and understand that we are closing in on the end of the first semester. Now is the time to put in that extra effort to achieve that grade that you desire. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
