Congratulations to our students of the week: Londyn Rivers- nominated by Mrs. Tawney, Jayden Lawson- nominated by Mr. Johnston, Sarah Garavito- nominated by Mrs. Murphy, and Alex Thongphounphim- nominated by Ms. Hawks.
All 11th grade students will be taking the ACT on Tuesday March 11. All 9th, 10th grade and 12th grade students will have an asynchronous day on the day of testing. Teachers will provide assignments on CANVAS and communicate with students regarding any check in times or instructions for the assignments. Students must complete and submit assignments to be counted present for the day.
Guilford County Schools will be transitioning to a new Student Information System for the 25-26 school year and we need to have correct contact information for each student. If you do not have a Parent Portal Account, an email was sent to you on Friday, March 7th from Lucy Ragsdale High with directions to create an account. Please follow the directions to create an account then go to Forms and update all contact information including your information and update the names and numbers for all contacts. If you already have a Parent Portal Account, please sign into your account and update all contact information. See our newsletters for more reminders.
Interim reports will be sent home via document delivery on Tuesday. Please see your child's teachers if you have any questions! This means there are only 3 weeks left in the quarter.
We have a full week of athletics! Please check out our newsletter or calendar for details!
Thank you , have a great week, and, as always, TIGER PRIDE!

Shout Outs
Congratulations to our Students of the Week!
Londyn Rivers – 9th grade – Nominated by Ms. Tawney – “Londyn cares not only about her own success in class, but the success of others. She exhibits (and exudes) a positive mindset at all times. She is respectful and kind to her classmates and is always willing to help others whether it be in homeroom or in class.”
Jaeden Lawson – 11th grade – Nominated by Mr. Johnston – “Jaeden regularly demonstrates resilience and a growth mindset as a Math 3 Honors student and now as an AP Precalculus student. He exceeded his projection by more than 20 percentiles in Math 3 Honors and has made the choice to take on AP level math. He works diligently every day in class and is a willing and active participant in class.”
Sarah Garavito – 11th grade – Nominated by Mrs. Murphy – “Sarah is a great person and student. She takes challenging classes and participates in several clubs on campus. She comes to school every day with a smile and is always quick to laugh. She asks amazing questions and is naturally inquisitive. Sarah is going to do amazing things in life and will represent Ragsdale well.”
Alexis Thongphounphim – 9th grade – Nominated by Ms. Hawks – "Alexis has grown so much in the last few months. He is a great classroom helper and loves to be with his friends.”
