Grobe's Groovin' Group News
Week of February 11-15
Valentine's Day
As many of you know, we are doing 'food-less' parties this year and the Valentine's Party will be no exception. Having said that, if you are providing Valentine's, to the class, that has candy or other food items attached, the children will be instructed to take it home and will not be allowed to eat it during school hours. I understand giving and receiving Valentine's cards is a fun thing many students look forward to but we do have to adhere to the school rules, as well. I can't wait to see all the fun and creative Valentine's cards. Several students have given me a sneak peek and I am already super impressed!
With celebrating Valentine's Day, comes the "gossip" and chit-chatting about who likes who and who is boyfriend and girlfriend. EEEKKK!! As a mother, the thought of my daughter having a boyfriend in two years is a little scary, but while I think the majority of it is very innocent crushes it has become the hot topic in the hallways and at recess. I urge you to have a conversation with your expectations for relationships, as we are doing the same during the school day.
Peace and Blessings,
