Dear Global Impact Academy Families,

This week represents a special time here at GIA! It is our Homecoming Spirit Week! We are excited to celebrate our RoBee Pride with various spirit days. Please see the flier below for the Spirit Days and other events! We are also happy to announce our Homecoming Dance this upcoming Saturday! Please ensure you have purchased your tickets!

Additionally, Tuesday is Election Day. We encourage all of our stakeholders to exercise their right to vote. Please note that Tuesday will be a Remote Learning Day for students and they should not report to school. Assignments can be found in Canvas.

Dear Parent/Guardian,

At Fulton County Schools, we truly value the feedback from our parents about their experiences with the district. That is why I encourage all parents to take the Annual Parent Perception Survey. This survey allows parents the opportunity to tell us what they think about their student’s schools and the district. While we always make it a priority to listen to our parents, this survey affords us another opportunity to receive your thoughts and opinions.

The survey is anonymous and confidential. Please complete one survey per school where you have one or more students enrolled. The survey will remain open from Wednesday, October 16 through Friday, November 22.

It’s not only parents we want to hear from. Our students’ opinions are important too! Students in grades 3-12 will be provided with the opportunity to take the Annual Student Perception Survey between October 17 and November 22 during the school day. In our ongoing efforts to remain transparent with parents, please take a moment to review the 3-5 student survey and/or the 6-12 Student Survey.

The Annual Perception Survey is currently available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Hindi, and Punjabi. If you or your family would like to take it in a language that is not listed, please email your child’s principal.

This week, Campbell Elementary School took over GIA for our first ever Advisement STEM Fall Festival! Advisement classes put on amazing STEM activities for our Campbell Cougars! Thanks Ms. Richardson for planning and thank you to our Advisement Teachers and Students for putting on an amazing event!! We think we saw a quite a few future RoBees in the bunch

A huge shoutout to our wonderful bookkeeper, Ms. Aldredge for being recognized by the district for exceeding procurement standards for Q1! Excellence is the GIA Way!
