Dear Families,
Thank you for supporting our Veterans Day event! It was a privilege to host the Leavenworth JROTC, the Calvary Angels, and the Drum & Bugle Corps. Holly Kane, our lead interventionist, was phenomenal singing the Star Spangled Banner and we had some of our students signing to America the Beautiful and God Bless America.
We had a great turn out! A special thank you goes out to the K-5 PTA, the LES Site Council and the Kiwanis Club! The Kiwanis Club partnered with us for this event and provided the meal and the cooks! Thank you to everyone who has served our great country and for supporting our schools!
This week we have several events. We were off for Veterans Day on Monday, our third grade is continuing fieldtrips to the School of Economics, and our second grade will travel to the high school to watch the Wizard of Oz. Our third grade was recently provided with the opportunity to set their own prices at the School of Economics. Our students are great!
If you are missing coats, hats, gloves, water bottes, etc.. please make time to visit our lost and found. All items not claimed before Thanksgiving break will be donated to a local charity.
